The rotation just got refreshed. THE DROP, the daily new music show on Radio Garden State, has a fresh batch of tracks in play this week. Big list this time, and it travels: Jersey hip hop, post-hardcore, melodic punk, Americana, shoegaze, Italian slowcore, and a four-piece from New Zealand.

Here's every new song added to THE DROP this week.

This Week's New Music Adds

With Sails Ahead, "Another Glance"

A post-hardcore five-piece out of Toms River, New Jersey, formed in 2014 and fronted by Sierra Binondo. The band calls "Another Glance" the story of us, honoring everything they've been through then and now.

K-Prez, "So Jersey"

A New Jersey MC repping the Prezidential Camp. "So Jersey" is an origin statement, produced by Nef with a video shot by TwoGotIt and RTEEZY, and it connects him to the international Snowgoons family.

Lydia Saint George, "Lungs"

A North Carolina singer-songwriter whose work blends atmospheric indie pop with folk-rooted storytelling and a gothic undercurrent. "Lungs," out via Gold Ship Records, is built around an eight-second keyboard loop she stumbled on while producing, and it captures the exhaustion of giving everything to a relationship and getting little back.

FLYE, "Feeling Free"

"Feeling Free" comes from a place most songs don't. FLYE was shot while pushing Nicki Minaj's DJ out of the way during a robbery, saving the man's life. The song is about what came after: no longer holding back out of fear of judgment. He grew up Black in the hood, where wanting to make pop punk meant limited options and an easy target for bullies. He says he learned firsthand that we're not here forever.

ghostbells, "Curses"

Built by longtime friends Jessica Perry and Jim Finley, ghostbells spent nearly two years writing, recording, and filming before ever approaching a label. Their sound is a dark collision of new wave, EBM, and modern electronic pop, with icy synths and witchy melodies. Their debut EP Catacouture landed on Out of Line Music.

Emerson Woolf & The Wishbones, "California Witch"

A five-piece Americana band fronted by singer-songwriter Emerson Woolf. "California Witch" is their latest single.

Lies, "Wires"

An Italian duo working in slowcore, dream pop, and post-rock. Elisa Mellini and Giuseppe Siciliano carve out slow-burning, immersive soundscapes built on multi-layered guitars and intimate vocals, with post-rock and noise threaded through.

Prettier Now, "Beaming"

Fronted by Manhattan-via-Jersey Shore songwriter Christian Monte, with a revolving cast behind him over the last six years. "Beaming" is grunge-forward and hook-heavy, the first single from their second full-length Miracle Charm. Monte describes it as reckoning with skewed priorities and an inability to show up that sank a relationship before it started.

Echomatica, "Atomic Girl"

A four-piece indie/alternative rock band based in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland, New Zealand, known for immersive, slow-burning soundscapes. They blend lush ambient electronics, hazy shoegaze textures, and post-punk melancholy with emotionally raw, reverb-soaked vocals. Vocalist Charlie and guitarist/programmer AJ are both originally from Manchester and met in Auckland, joined by Scott and Matt from Aotearoa.

Daisy Ruth, "Bad Person!"

A New Jersey singer-songwriter who got started by taking production lessons so she could create and produce her own music. She spent the past few years learning the technology, and her aim is to write songs people relate to and connect with.

JD Brook Band, "South Of Pawnee"

An emerging Americana five-piece out of northern New Jersey, pulling from country, rock, blues, and bluegrass into what they call a new old school sound. James Amendola handles vocals and acoustic rhythm, Dave Figueiredo's lead guitar shapes the melodies and solos, and Tommy "Fiddle" Muratore trades call-and-response lines against him. "South Of Pawnee" comes off their New York 94 EP.

The Rodeo Poets, "When The Morning Comes"

An Asbury Park outfit, and one more entry in this state's long tradition of turning country and roots music into something that sounds like it belongs here.

Jacob Tremont, "Truth In Melody"

A Jersey City indie-folk singer-songwriter on Mint 400 Records out of Passaic County. His cinematic, raw songwriting blends 90s alt-rock, modern folk, and lo-fi, and critics keep reaching for Elliott Smith and Bright Eyes as comparisons. His album Slow Motion Night was named the #1 album of the year by Constant Listener.

MADiSON ViOLETT, "Nowhere To Run"

Back on THE DROP after "Nightmares" made the rotation.

Falling Into Light, "Take Me"

An independent shoegaze and indie rock band out of New Jersey: Natalia Vazquez on vocals and guitar, Zack Cole Muniz on lead guitar, Serj Gomez on bass and backing vocals, and Fabio Da Silva on drums. Dreamy and guitar-driven, with listeners reaching for Slowdive, DIIV, and My Bloody Valentine as touchstones. Their debut single "Wish I Was Like Them" set up the Illusions EP.

Fire Sale, "Kill The Noise"

A Los Angeles punk band with serious pedigree: former and current members of Face to Face, No Use For A Name, The Ataris, Down By Law, and The Iron Roses. "Kill The Noise" is about the daily grind of mental health struggles and learning to get past them. As vocalist Pedro Aida puts it, there are days when your brain won't shut up and feels like it's conspiring against you. It opens the band's split with The Corps, Split Decision, on Negative Progression Records.

The Corps, "Imposter Syndrome"

Vancouver skate punk, carrying the torch for Propagandhi, Lagwagon, and NOFX. "Imposter Syndrome" is the flip side of that same Split Decision release, and it digs into the strange gap between sharing stages with your heroes and feeling like you belong up there.
